Daily Ramblings - Happy Thanksgiving!
10,000 miles away from most of our family and friends, gives us pause on this celebrated day of Thanksgiving. Certainly we are appreciative of the bounty in our lives: the bounty of friends we care about and the family we are blessed to be a part of.
Specifically we are thankful Ken Bedell is healthy and that all of our parents are living full and fulfilling lives. And, on this Thanksgiving, all of our children are happy and well, with Sami promising our first grandbaby by the beginning of the new year.
We are awed by people everywhere we travel and so wish religion and politics did not endeavor to divide us. We are thankful for the human race and the sameness of purpose and uniqueness of individuality in each of us.
As we traverse the Pacific we are amazed at the vastness and beauty of our Mother Earth. We are thankful we may have the time to change consumption lifestyles and save our planet. Let’s hope we have the wisdom to do so.
Most of all, we are thankful for one-another. What a gift we were given when we found each other.
Peace,
Molly and Tom |
